The International Academy for School Accountability , is the lead accrediting body taking responsibility for training inspectors and standardizing accountability practices in schools.
IASA trained inspectors can expect to find work on inspection teams reviewing schools of all types in many different states and nations.
IASA is a department of Class Measures. Class Measures is a specialist consultancy firm that provides school inspections, quality improvement services, and staff training to nations, states, districts, and charter school authorizers.
Class Measures has many years of experience conducting school inspections, as well as training consultants in the use, interpretation, and development of review standards, indicators, and protocols. Class Measures trained personnel for the Massachusetts Office of Educational Quality and Accountability (EQA), and annually trains inspectors used by Class Measures to conduct charter school renewal inspections in Massachusetts.
Class Measures has also trained cohorts of inspectors to conduct school inspections in the Middle East as well as team members for charter school inspections in Michigan and New York.
