CLASS MEASURES TACKLES TEACHER LICENSURE IN QATAR

Date last updated 2:22 pm Jan 4th, 2010

Class Measures recently contracted with Gulf Business Machines Qatar (GBM), a partner of IBM, to assist in the design of the country's Teacher Licensure process and ensure consistency with the National Professional Standards (NPSs) established by the Supreme Education Council (SEC). Long term improvement in the quality of Qatar's professional teachers is a chief business goal of the SEC. Class Measures' responsibilities during this project will include review of the licensure processes developed by GBM for a good match to the teacher quality standards as defined by the SEC, definition of the functional aspects of the licensure system, testing of the licensure system once created, and creation of a long term business strategy for the licensing system.
