Lisa Demoulias, Class Measures Vice President of Operations, received the 2009 Chamber Champion award from the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce for her ongoing work with the Chamber's Mentoring Program.
The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce mentoring program began in September 2000. The Chamber recruited – from its business community – approximately 35 mentors willing to work with the members of the Stoneham High School freshman class four times during the academic year. According to the Chamber's press release, "Mrs. Demoulias has served as the educational backbone of the Chamber’s Mentoring program for the last three years, revamping the curriculum, working with Stoneham High School administrators and teachers and recruiting mentors to staff the freshmen classes each spring." The full press release can be found at http://www.stonehamchamber.org.
Mrs. Demoulias received her award at the Crystal Ball, which was held on November 21, 2009.
