The Chicago Board of Education has awarded Class Measures a contract to conduct School Diagnostic Reviews of probationary high schools and elementary schools. The term of the contract is for two years with two one year options to extend. The reviews will consist of three day visits to schools which will include, but not be limited to, interviews with school leaders, interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and discussions with students and key school working groups.
The review team will consist of at least three members, including a team leader and team members with the expertise in leadership and governance and diagnosing the leadership and organizational capacity of an organization. Following the visit, the team will produce a detailed evidence-based report that includes recommendations, and focuses on the capacity of the school’s principal and school-based leadership team to drive positive change with respect to academics, culture, and community.
