3 STEP SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROCESS
The three steps below can be purchased as individual products if desired. However, they are most effective when used together.
STEP 1: INSTRUCTIONAL QUALITY SCHOOL REVIEW (IQSR)
The challenge to schools and organizations responsible for improving schools is to lay the foundation for sustainable improvement. IQSRs do that by providing decision makers with the detailed information they need to improve school performance. Our tested methodology includes a review of documents, interviews with school leaders, focus groups with teachers, parents, and students, and classroom observations. A report is developed that will identify areas that need improvement, especially the quality of teaching and learning. The report will also include recommendations that will enhance academic and operational performance.
STEP 2: INSTRUCTIONAL ACTION PLANNING (IAP)
IAP is a flexible and highly effective school improvement tool. It can be used as a stand-alone action planning process to identify priorities for improvement and create a roadmap for the implementation of actions.
STEP 3: INSTRUCTIONALLY DYNAMIC SOLUTIONS (IDS)
When strengths and areas for improvement have been identified, IDS can be used to build strengths and eliminate weaknesses. No two schools are exactly alike and the IDS that will work best will be a unique blend of strategic changes that harness the potential of leaders, managers, and all instructional staff and optimize that potential in every classroom.
